Proposed Te Anau Plan Changes

Council staff have worked their way through submissions to proposed Plan Changes 5, 6 and 7 and a report for each plan change has been prepared. The reports include recommendations for each submission received.

The hearings for Plan Changes 5, 6 and 7 will be held from 1 to 3 June 2010 at the Distinction Te Anau Hotel & Villas, 64 Lakefront Drive, Te Anau. Hearings will commence at 9.00 a.m on Tuesday, 1 June 2010 and Wednesday, 2 June and if necessary Thursday, 3 June 2010.

Letters advising of the hearing dates and details have been sent to every person who made a submission or further submission on these plan changes. Copies of the planner's reports have also been sent to all submitters. The reports are also available for public inspection at the Council offices in Te Anau and Invercargill and on the Southland District Council's website.

Te Anau Plan Changes Summary Document October 2009

A Te Anau Plan Changes summary document has been prepared and this provides an explanation of each plan change proposal and includes a map of the areas of Te Anau that they relate to. A copy of this document been sent to all Te Anau ratepayers and it can be viewed here.
