Customer Service
You are welcome to visit any of our offices and our customer service officers will help in any way they can. Customer service officers are usually the first point of contact with Council and can assist you either by answering your questions or putting you on to someone who can.
We provide an 0800 number to allow Southland residents to ring Council at no cost from throughout the province. The number - 0800 732 732 - will be usually answered by area officers in your area, and if they are not available, by staff at the main office in Invercargill.
An after hours service is also provided through the 0800 732 732 number so if you have any issues, please call the number and report them.
An online option for service is also available on this website by following the link: Online Request for Service
For anything urgent please use the 0800 number, anytime day or night.
